“To the people who are looking to make a healthy change, don’t be scared, you are worth it. This has been the best thing I have ever done in my entire life!”Shannon started at 104.5 and is now 85.9 with a goal weight of 70kg.

 

  1. What was your health status?

My health status was surviving. For the most, I was existing and not really achieving a happy life. It had gotten to the point that I was focusing on surviving each day. I had severe lower back pain and sciatic pain that was affecting my entire world including relationships, work and especially health.

  1. What steps had you taken previously to get your health and weight under control?

I have tried them all. Weight loss shakes, a few fitness challenges, changing my diet to what I thought was healthy. Most times I lost a little weight and put it back on plus extra weight. I even tried the doctors and they had suggested ‘lap band’ surgery – which I refused.

  1. What were your frustrations up to this point?

I was frustrated by the fact of knowing I needed to lose weight but didn’t know how to do it. I was frustrated at myself for getting this big. I was also unable to do normal everyday tasks because of back pain as I was carrying way too much weight.

  1. How were you referred to our program?

I was referred to the program by my practitioner – and I can’t thank him enough.

  1. What were some of your fears about beginning this program if any?

I feared the financial cost of the program as I didn’t want to invest in a product and then put all the weight back on. I also feared letting myself and my coach down.

  1. What were your desires or outcomes you expected?

My desired outcome is to live a healthy life. Being skinny is a bonus. I wanted to learn the tools and skills to be healthier person for the rest of my life, with little or no sickness and pain.

  1. What are you results? How have you improved?

Personally, I believe I have improved heaps. I’m stronger person with more confidence in myself. I am happier person and I have gotten to know myself better. I have lost 18 kilos and I’m still going. My pain is pretty much gone and I’m more proactive.

  1. Who would you recommend the ideal protein protocol to? – Do you have words of encouragement for others who may be considering this program?

I have already recommended two friends and my mother-in-law.

To the people who aren’t on it… don’t be scared, you are worth it. This has been the best thing I have done in my entire life. It has helped me physically and mentally. I have learnt to listen to my body and what is healthy or unhealthy for me. Also, the food is great, and I always feel full and satisfied. The personal coaching has kept me focused and taught me so much

If you do the protocol and stick to it, you will never regret it!

Healthy, but need to lose that last 5kg that I have always had trouble getting rid of.

Fad diets = Supermarket shakes, Cabbage soup diet, Running everyday

Lost 5 kg! Feeling great, more energy, feeling comfortable in my swimmers now.

Anyone that is struggling to lose unwanted weight and anyone with health diseases that will improve their health when weight is lost.

This program really works!! It’s quite affordable, compared to other programs and at the end of the day, your health will cost much more down the track if you don’t start looking after yourself now.

I found it very easy & never felt hungry! The one on one coaching is fantastic & keeps you accountable each week.

  1. What was your health status?

I have always struggled with my weight. Since I was 11 years old I have been obese. This had caused many insecurities and confident issues in my life. I was depressed and hated going anywhere because I always thought people were snickering and judging me.

 

  1. What steps had you taken previously to get your health and weight under control?

When I was 18 years old I went on Duramine and lost 25 kilos in 2 months. I got down to 74 kilos and was happy with the way I looked but knew it wasn’t a healthy way and left a lot of excess skin which I couldn’t get rid of. In saying this, it was still a confidence boost for me.

 

  1. What were your frustrations up to this point?

There were no frustrations until I started working in a call centre over this 5year period I slowly put on another 20kgs. I started eating healthy but because I didn’t like to exercise I didn’t see many results and just gave up.

 

  1. How were you referred to our program?

I was referred onto Nutrition & Weight Loss Company (N&WLC) by a good friend who had also struggled with weight over the years. I started seeing her results and decided to give it a go.

 

  1. What were some of your fears about beginning this program if any?

Sticking to a strict program has always been a fear. I love my food and I end up feeling depressed and guilty when start something and don’t stick to it. But I have reached a point in my life where I know if I don’t make a change, it will affect me more in the long run.

 

  1. What were your desires or outcomes you expected?

I learnt not to have expectations as so many diets and detoxes I have tried haven’t worked. But looking back, they have all been fads and not a way of living.

 

  1. What are you results? How have you improved?

My results have been better than I expected. I’ve lost 14 kilos to date and I’m finding it easy to stick to. I love waking up and seeing an ‘almost flat’ stomach.

I have many friends that could benefit from Ideal Protein and wish they would give it a go. Not just to look good, but to feel good & be healthy.

Whether you want to be better and healthier for yourself, your family or your partner, you can do it. Your only human, some days will be tough (no matter what diet you do) and you may feel guilty if you slip up, but don’t.  The coaching is fantastic and helps you stay on track. This is a new beginning for a new you.

    I have been overweight for 20 years. The excess weight restricted my movements and did have an impact on my quality of life. Recent medical issues have made me realise that without changes to my lifestyle I would have ongoing health problems and it could go downhill until I was bed ridden in God’s waiting house

    I joined a diet program counting calories and points, this drove me nuts.

    I just needed and wanted to lose weight simply.
