How our bodies process the foods we eat
All bodies are fueled the same way: first we access/burn our carbohydrates/sugars. Should those become depleted, the body will turn to burning its fat and muscle reserves. The cause of most weight issues in modern society is insulin dysfunction. Over the years, increased consumption of nutritionally devoid foods disproportionate in sugars, carbs, fats and calories, combined with a “challenged” lifestyle has caused the body to compensate by producing an overabundance of insulin, resulting with insulin resistance. Insulin is a powerful hormone that helps to regulate our blood sugar level. Unfortunately, when our bodies make excess insulin, it also serves to transport fat into our fat cells, and locks it there. Since our blood sugar level has dropped, and we can’t access the newly stored fat for energy, our bodies begin to crave more carbohydrates, and the cycle repeats.

Your Ideal Protein Experience
You will enjoy four intakes of food a day: breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack. Three of these meals feature a nutritious and great tasting Ideal Protein food product, and one meal will be provided solely by you. With a variety of delicious and nutritious foods to choose from, you’ll select your favorites to combine with your own healthy foods, ensuring pleasure and results.
4 PHASES TO SUCCESS:
- Phase I – Lose all your weight. Women may typically lose 1 to 2 kg/week and men 2 to 3 kg/week
- Phase II – Two-week period where you simply remove 1 Ideal Protein food, and replace it with your own protein source, e.g. eggs, fish, chicken, kangaroo, beef, pork, etc…begin transitioning the body to post-diet eating.
